Why Transit101?

Existing transit industry orientation tools for finance professionals are ineffective because of industry complexities, hiring and retention challenges associated with a tight labor market, and rapidly changing expectations for financial staff performance. Orientation practices vary from agency to agency; T-FLEx members are convinced that standardizing industry orientation materials and making them available affordably as Web-based Training (WBT) will be more effective and more efficient than the present varied approaches.

Audience

T-FLEx members are the intended audience, primarily financial professionals. TFLEx wanted to create these lessons to help staff become more able to converse knowledgeably about the industry with internal and external customers.
