TFLEx Cafe - New Members website coming soon
The conference had a discussion about the features for the new TFLEx member's website, tenatively entitled "TFLEx Cafe". This site, which in the development stage, will replace the current SharePoint site. The new site features a simplified user experience, automatic account creation and easy password recovery. The site has three applications.
Framework - Allows the user to drill around site's content by subject.
Collaborate - Allows users to post material and reply to other user's postings.
Network - Allows users to find and contact other members.
The conference attendees decided they wanted emails sent to the entire membership when new posting were created, but not for every reply. There will be more announcements as the transition takes place in the upcoming weeks.
